Um.......I'm not sure what to say...

My art style varies depending on how I feel, so it's not one specific style. But if I had to categorize it, I guess it would either be under "anime" or "traditional". I usually draw people, but I'm going to try and also draw animals and scenery (although I know drawing water is going to be really hard). I try to make my drawings as realistically (proportioned) as I can.

I have only been drawing for about 3 years now, so I'm still a bit inexperienced. I've never had any sort of training or a teacher, so I've pretty much been teaching myself so far (although I do get advice and tips from my friend, who also draws).
Whenever I draw something, I usually try to put a lot of creativity and emotion into it. I don't believe in tracing! I do not (nor ever have) traced any part of my drawings.
If you EVER have any advice, constructive criticism, or just a comment, please feel free to tell me! I would LOVE to hear your opinion!



My materials for regular black and white drawings consist of:

* 0.7 mechanical pencil (#2 led)
* Regular computer printing paper
* An earaser (I usually just use the one that comes with the pencil)
* Blending sticks (of various sizes)
* A small, thin paint brush (to smooth out and better blend what was blended with the blending sticks)



My materials for regular colored drawings consist of:

* 0.7 mechanical pencil (#2 led)
* Regular computer printing paper
* An earaser (I usually just use the one that comes with the pencil)
* A black, double-ended Sharpie (regular on one side, fine point on the other)
* Colored pencils (or markers, depending on what I choose to use)



My materials for drawings done on the computer consist of:

* A Bamboo drawing tablet
* Microsoft Paint (I'll start using Photoshop once I get the software)

  • Favourite gaming platform: Nintendo DS
  • Favourite cartoon character: Flapjack, Knuckles, Bubby, Konata, Hinata, Naruto, Stewie.....I have a lot of fav. characters.
  • Personal Quote: "Why is there a giant panda in the classroom?"

For my next drawing, I'm going to be doing a modern day Wizard of Oz.

* For Dorothy, Ill have her wear a plaid skirt, and instead of ruby slippers, I'll give her red Converse.

* For the Cowardly Lion, I'll have a guy (with a shy expression on his face) wearing one of those jackets with a really fuzzy hood lining (instead of a lions maine).

* The Scarecrow will be a tall, lean boy with really worn, ripped up clothes. He'll have crazy hair and a torn hat.

* The tin man will just be a guy in a metalic silver jacket. I think I might make him bald, too.

* Toto will either be a regular dog, or a street cat.


So what do you guys think? Should I add/change anything? Please comment!
